Requesting a pilot

Pilots can be requested 24 hours a day by calling:

1-361-552-9988.

 

Due to “one way” ocean going traffic on the Matagorda Ship Channel, Pilots arrange vessel traffic to facilitate the quickest manner of movements.  In most cases, movements will be handled on a first come, first served basis.

 

Attention Agents:

All accounts must be paid in full prior to vessels departure. 

 

Arrival:

Pilots request that all agents with vessels arriving contact the pilots directly with a twenty four (24) hour notice.  Please include vessels LOA, breadth and draft.  

 

Departure:

Pilots require a 2 hour notice from agents.

 

Shifting:

Pilots require a 2 hour notice from agents.
